Post 22 - Death
Death is a termination of a living organism. I have not seen anyone die in front of me but I have quite a few people I know who has died. My best friend died in her daughter's arm. I can't imaging what she may go through at times. No one knows when it's their time to go. Emily Dickinson wrote a poem about death. The title of the poem is "Because I could not stop for death". In her poem she said "because I could not stop for death but he kindly stopped for me". I gathered she wasn't ready to die but death was ready for her. We don't know when death will come, some of us maybe afraid of death. We don't know how we may die but we do know death will come.

I think the hardest part of death for people is that they will never be able to have a relationship again with the one who left. I've personally had regrets about losing someone who was important to me in my life because I stayed angry at them for so long. I learned my lesson to not hold on to anger or a grudge. You never know when someone may leave, and without being able to mend things and make them better with that person makes it that much harder.
