but you must not be defeated. In fact,
it may be necessary to encounter the defeats,
so you can know who you are,what you can rise
from, how you can still come out of it."
I have experience many defeats and I keep on keeping on. This poem is a great inspiration when I meet some bumps alone the way. Some poems can be very inspiring that why I truly enjoy reading her poems. She has written other poems about a strong woman, but this one I just love. Thank you Maya Angelou for being an inspiration.
Nice poem and it is true we can have many situations in life but this situations are going to make us stronger every day.

ReplyDeleteShe is bay far one of the best writes. She has a way of bringing her own understand to light to others. It amazes me how you can read a poem when your in a dark place and by the end reading you find yourself back in the light.
