The most recent story we've read was " The Fall of the House of Usher". The character in the story is Roderick Usher and the Narrator. The Narrator is the person who is telling the story about his beliefs of Roderick Usher and his experience of being around Usher. Roderick Usher is very educated and comes from a wealthy family. He was once a good looking man, his appearance later changed because of his insanity. Usher's character believes in the supernatural because he sees and hears things. Madeline Usher was the twin sister of Roderick. Madeline is not mention much in the story except when she gets locked in the vault and then buried. Madeline's character seems to be mental also. The Narrator believes that his friend Usher has mental issues that are not resolved. The Narrator tries to rationalize the fantasies Usher is having. The Narrator really do not understand Usher but the Narrator is superstitious.

I think House of Usher was a great story and it is just good to read. We can learn about society from this book, like how during the times it was written things were slower and unclear much like Usher is. I also like the crepe theme.
