Post 4 - What I've learned about my Wikipedia topic

My topic is "Mending Wall". There is not much about this poem that I have found. I think I should change to something else that I feel comfortable with. There is no copyright dates, therefore no one knows when the author really wrote the poem. I found out that the author Robert Frost did his best work in London. I can find more information about the author than the poem. I really want to reconsider my topic.

  1. The first thing I said is when I fist saw your blogg, is why are you thinking so hard. LOL, then I read your post! Yeah that's kind of hard, do what you feel best but try getting some experts to help you and see where you can go from there.

  2. English is my second language, and for me it is very difficult to put words and sentences together specially in literature that requires good grammar and punctuation. I would like to recommend you to look for a topic where you can read a lot and get your own conclusions, so you do not feel like me sometimes, lost.

  4. You ran into the same issue I had when I chose my first poem, the poem for To The desert didnt even have a Wikipedia yet. This made me have to read more poems of which I dont understand half the words, but I finally found one with enough stuff to be able to add to.

  5. Definitely you need a good story or poem that you feel comfortable with or you could look deeper in your research, hope you will find something to write about in wiki.

  7. Remember that Professor Hamon posted all of those links for "Mending Wall" on the group page on Wikipedia. I've also found that looking at the references from those articles that I have found can be a huge help.
